I must say that the Management Accounting Series has been one of the most fun sessions of CPD I’ve participated in in a long time.
It’s reinvigorated, and reconfirmed, my enjoyment for management accounting, CFO services, and advisory. These are services we know we’re capable of offering to our clients but lack the ability to even start to explain what else we do other than accounting and tax. All clients think we do is compliance – and it just isn’t so.
I’ve found that with John leading this series, he’s opened different ways to tell the stories our clients’ numbers represent. Reminded us that we aren’t just there to provide solutions or bills to pay but provide support and help them to achieve their goals.
So, suffice to say, it’s been great. The resources are super useful, the case studies have been interesting, the explanations have been simple and effective, and John was a great host – personable, funny, and engaging.
